The new museum has 7 floors, including 1 underground and 6 above ground. The design has a collection of 10 million books and 6000 reading seats, with a daily maximum capacity of 20000 readers. After the completion of the Jiangxi Provincial Library, the single building area ranks among the top three provincial libraries in the country.

According to the unified deployment of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, combined with the actual situation of the current epidemic, the new library of Jiangxi Province will be opened in an orderly manner from March 21, 2020.
